Youth Leaders
I originally grew up in Calgary AB, and White Rock, BC. I attended Briercrest College in Saskatchewan from 2005-2009. I married my wife Emily in 2013 and have been serving at White Rock Baptist since November 15th of that year.
I also have 2 daughters, Lily and Lucy!
I am the Pastor to Youth and Young Adults and am passionate about creating opportunities for the students to build friendships, leading students to love Jesus and to teach more about Jesus love for all of us.
I enjoy eating hamburgers, watching movies, playing games, most sports, music and of course hanging out with my family.
Most importantly, I love an amazing powerful God who has brought me on quite the journey. I strive every day to be the best follower of Jesus I can be, and by doing so, I also do my best to share that with the students, and help leading them to follow Him.
We have an amazing crew of leaders that are dedicated to serving and leading the students. From car mechanics to teachers, we come from a variety of backgrounds.They all have a desire to walk along with the students, on their faith journey.

I have been attending WRBC for 21 years. In January 2017, I will have been the Coordinator of Kids Ministries for 11 years. I love my job and I'm very gratefull that the Lord has given me the opportunity to serve Him here. It's so much fun it doesn't really feel like work. 😋
I have twin daughters, Karlie and Lauren, who are 22 years old. They both graduated from Trinity Western University in April 2016. Lauren is a nurse and Karlie is an elementary school teacher. I'm very thankful that they love to serve the Lord here at WRBC as well.
I also have a dog and her name is Sadie. This is the best church because they let me bring her to work with me. She loves kids!
Nothing brings me more joy than teaching kids how awesome Jesus is and how crazy He is about them. Through all I do, I hope and pray that they fall passionately in love with Jesus and make the decision to have Him become their Savior.
My favourite Bible passage is Matthew 22:37-39--Jesus replied, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself."
